National Charity League, Inc. is a non-profit national organization of mothers and daughters who join together in community involvement within local chapters throughout the United States. Its goal is to foster a sense of community responsibility in the girls as well as to strengthen the mother-daughter relationship. The daughters participate in a six-year program of philanthropy, educational activities and cultural events.

To foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
Leadership Training
Our participants are taught a variety of leadership skills such as comprehensive event planning,  meeting skills,  social and business correspondence,  time management,  resume development, and  interviewing.  Every year the daughters plan and hold our Mother-Daughter Tea to welcome the new members to our organization.
Cultural Activities
Our six year plan includes many types of cultural activities such as trips to Opera San JoseCantor Art Museum,   Beach Blanket Babylon and Villa Montalvo

Our Region and District
Our chapter is in Region IV, Distict II including many chapters in northern California, Oregon and Washington: Almaden-Blossom Valley, Evergreen, Lake Oswego, Marin, Monterey Bay, Portland, San Francisco Prospective, San Rafael Mission Belles Provisional and Stanford Hills.
Our History
In 1925, a small group of women formed The Charity League (TCL) in Los Angeles to support Children's Hospital.  In 1946, TCL was reorganized and became National Charity League (NCL).
